学生 may choose to concentrate in any three of the following teaching areas: economics, 地理位置, 政府, 历史, 心理学, and sociology. To ensure broad competence in the social sciences, 学生 are also required to complete 一个 course in each teaching area 不 chosen as the teaching area, for a total of 9 credit hours. There is 一个 exception to this pattern: 学生 who do 不 choose 历史 as 一个 of their teaching areas must complete 两个 历史 courses and 一个 course in each other teaching area 不 chosen, for a total of 12 credit hours.
